COVID-19 tests are free through state-supported testing programs and at DOH COVID-19 testing kiosks. Medicaid insurance covers at-home COVID-19 tests through September 2024. See Apple Health at-home testing FAQ (wa.gov) to find out how to receive a test at no cost.

If you would like free COVID-19 testing kits delivered to you, please visit https://www.covidtests.gov/. There, you can enter your information and place your order. Each household is allowed one order, which contains four tests. Once you have placed your order, these tests will be delivered to you.

This site is only for high-risk individuals, so they can be prioritized in the delivery of the test kits. Here is what you need to know about the federal effort: Individuals will be able to order online at www.covidtests.gov. Every home in U.S. can order four (4) free at-home COVID-19 tests.

Many people will no longer be infectious to others after 5 days, but you can be infectious for up to 10 days.

If you have symptoms, test immediately and then test again per the instructions if your first result is negative. If you were exposed to someone who has COVID-19 and you do not have symptoms, wait at least 5 full days after your exposure before testing. If you test too early, you may have an inaccurate result.
